WOW Sports understands the deep importance of living life to the fullest and providing opportunities for others to do the same. Giving back and lending a helping hand are at the forefront of what WOW is all about, and we’re thrilled to have partnered-up with some of the best in the nation. This summer, we’re excited to be sponsoring incredible organizations helping underprivileged children get out and have some fun on the water.
As Churchill once said, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” The incredible volunteers and organizations putting on these events are the real heroes, and WOW is honored to play a small part in putting a smile on these kids’ faces.
SPLASH! Norris Lake
SPLASH! Norris Lake dedicates an entire day each year for kids in local children’s homes to have the “best day ever” out on Lake Norris, TN. This organization was founded to provide a really special summer experience for the underprivileged kids at Wears Valley Ranch (WVR). WVR houses kids aged 6-18 and offers a safe haven for those who come from difficult family situations. Through no fault of their own, their families are unable to provide a stable home environment and many of them have suffered abuse.
SPLASH! Norris Lake offers these amazing kids a full day of fun out on the water, many of whom have never even seen water before! The day is jam-packed full of water sports, tubing, and relaxing on the boats and water mats. WOW is happy to have been able to provide much of the equipment needed to make this day unforgettable.
SPLASH! Has also team up with many local boat owners and business leaders devoted to making this day as special as possible. On top of the incredible services this organization provides, every dollar raised is sent directly to Wears Valley Ranch and used to cover the event expenses.
Wears Valley Ranch provides Christian homes, education, and counseling to children in crisis situations in Sevierville, Tennessee. These deserving children, through no fault of their own, have ended up in difficult circumstances and WVR has stepped in to guide them to a happy and healthy adulthood.
Although they accept children from across the United States, the need for WVR’s help in east Tennessee is staggering. Due to local laws, the state will only remove a child from a home in dire situations. Wears Valley Ranch offers these kids an early intervention alternative to help get them on the right track before it’s too late.
WVR is nestled against the backdrop of the Great Smokey Mountains National Park and provides an oasis for healthy living for these children. Head to WVR.org to learn more about Wears Valley Ranch and the impactful work they continue to do for kids.

Wake The World Alabama
WOW is excited to have sponsored Wake The World Alabama on June 9th, 2023, at Lewis Smith Lake, Alabama. Wake The World is a 501(C) (3) non-profit organization focusing on teaching water sports to abused and neglected children as well as individuals with disabilities and wounded warriors.
Wake The World is made possible by a group of boat owners who have volunteered their time and resources to teach water sports, water safety, and offer a day of fun for children to make new friends and memories. This event provides the children with the opportunity to learn a new sport and meet others in similar situations to boost their confidence and give them a fun day to cherish that they wouldn’t have been given otherwise.
What started as a few families getting together in 2008 to provide underprivileged kids a day out on the water, has now turned into Wake The World holding over 50 events in 28 states and Canada every year! This year, WOW is excited to be equipping WTW Smith Lake, AL, with towables, life jackets, water mats, and other water sports equipment for a great day out on the lake. Wake The World Alabama has been putting smiles onto the faces of kids from Big Oak Ranch since 2011. Last year, this event hosted 150 children and 24 house parents from the Big Oak Ranch with 26 boats and countless volunteers from the local community. WTW Alabama continues to provide smiles, laughter, and memories for these deserving children year after year. WOW could not be more honored to play a small part in making this awesome day come to life. Providing WOW Moments is in the DNA of what we’re all about. Giving back to those who have continuously supported us over the years is essential, and we’re so grateful to have such an amazing community of dedicated WOW customers and friends. WOW products are meant for having fun and making memories, and we’re honored to have been able to put a smile on the faces of kids in Tennessee and Alabama this week.
